Workplace Human Hazard Management Menu of Courses
Human hazards have long needed a road map for the intrinsic processes that occur within individuals and the distinct members of a team. Given the complexity of the human experience, such a model would be obliged to offer a self-evident path and reflect values that humans have aspired to embody, along with the ways that we have struggled, leading to problems and sometimes disaster. This series of courses introduces participants to a model that does just that. Review the model at the bottom of this course series menu.

Why Things Go Wrong
(Case Study Based Webinar)
This five evening (90 minutes per) online Webinar is for anyone who is interested in developing a tool box for navigating human hazards related to decision making in high consequence situations.
During this workshop, you will explore eight key pairs of human response options by reflecting on 2-4 famous case studies (chosen by participants). This process brings a whole new perspective on very old, and or contemporary case studies.

Human Hazard Management Model
The following table outlines a model for Human Hazard Management. Shadow Power response choices are blocked in black and Luminant Power responses choices are on a yellow background. The work of the individual, group or organization is to recognize when Shadow Power is being considered or excercised, and to elevate that response to Luminant Power. The purple oval depicts the whole human condition, which includes the notion that we are all vulnerable to operating in shadow. As humans we are called to constantly be working with these forces and to lead ourselves to awareness so that we can elevate our actions first by acknowledging the shadow within.
